Hey guys! Good news to share today. My flash story “Castle Burberry’s Curse” has been published in Bards and Sages Quarterly January 2017 magazine! I’m very excited! This is my second publication with this magazine, the first being “The Drowned Prince” in their July 2017 issue.
If you’d like to read my story without purchasing the magazine, click here, and you’ll be directed to Smashwords where you can download a sample from the publisher. Luckily, my story is the second one and included in their sample! This is what people look at before buying, so I’m honored to be included.
The Bards and Sages Quarterly features original short speculative fiction from both new and established authors. Their writers include first-time authors, Pushcart Prize nominees, and Nebula award winners. They’re also eligible to be nominated for the 2017 Hugo Award for Best Semiprozine! That’s awesome, and I hope they get nominated (and win)!
Last year, my goal was to submit to literary magazines with the hopes that at least one story would be professionally published. I’ll need a new goal this year, because I’m already starting off ahead! Happy 2017!
